Memorial Biography

My brother Isiac arrived on November 27th, 2002 at 9:36 pm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until just after his fourth birthday that I was lucky enough to meet him. He was the kindest most tender-hearted kid I had ever met, and to this day still is. The day I met Isiac, he had an ear infection. When it came time for him to take his medicine for it, he took his dose without any complaint, any other kid I knew would have whined and negotiated. Not Isiac, at four years old he was mature enough to know what was important. In the years that followed becoming a family with Isiac, our weekends were filled with car rides that also happened to be family sing-a-longs (Isiac and I would always duet), playing board games or video games, where he was never once a sore loser, and dancing to Baby Got Back, by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Once we even had a battle that consisted of us having the time of our lives throwing pieces of Carl Buddig lunch meat at each other. When Isiac started going to school, he was very excited to go and he was always a good student. He always tried his best and didn’t even seem to mind doing homework. Isiac always was wanting to learn and try new things. The first organized activity he ever did was gymnastics, then baseball, and finally basketball once he got into high school. At home, he liked to rollerblade, swim whenever he could, and go skateboarding. He was never scared or nervous and if he did fall down, he couldn’t wait to get back up and try again. He was always incredibly patient and had the best attitude. No matter what, he would always take a first bite of food, even if he didn’t think he was going to like it. He would always go to bed when his mom asked him to and he would always play well with other children. When Isiac became a big brother to Simon, he was especially patient and kind. “Isiac” was the first name Simon could say. Isiac loved being a big brother, as well as being a little brother. He always wanted to spend time with every part of his family, whether it was spending the night at his Grandma Mary’s, playing catch or video games with his brother Connor, teaching his little brother Simon new things, going to the movies with his Aunt Amy and especially doing anything and everything with his mom. As Isiac got older, he met many great friends and chose the most amazing girlfriend, Asia. Anyone who ever got to meet Isiac knows how calm, sensitive, and patient he was with everyone and everything and loved being around and spending time with him. We lost Isiac on March 22nd, 2020, and it has been devastating to all of the lives he touched, but in the limited time we had with him, he showed us how to be sensitive and patient, how to be the best brother, son and friend, and if I had the choice to choose my family, I would choose Isiac, everytime. So let’s celebrate and be thankful for the day Isiac made his way into our world and continue to celebrate him not just today, but everyday, for the rest of our lives.
